Saturday 18th October was a new experience in terms of social events as our new Social Committee put the first Barn Dance onto the calendar.

The food was great and the party went with a real swing (and a dozy doh! or something like that!) until it went so wrong that we were all on the floor laughing. Those who came were unanimous in their praise for the organisers and convinced that this needs to happen again - so get down the gym and get fit, you'll need it!


The straw added greatly to the feeling of being in a barn, as did the children who kept leaving the door open on what was definitely a cold night. Perhaps they were born in a barn after all, but if not they were definitley born to barn dance!
